Wholesale Dahlias and cut flowers for the trade

Apricot coloured dahlia variety 'Labyrinth'

The Story

I discovered dahlias when I first started growing flowers in pots outside my back door. I picked up some tubers from the garden centre and when they flowered I was instantly in love. When we moved to North Devon and I suddenly had a large garden at my disposal, I dug flower beds and filled them with all types and colours, and used them wherever possible in my wedding work. But I didn’t have unlimited space, and I didn’t have every colour, and I often found myself needing more. So I ordered them from my Dutch wholesaler and I found out how badly they travel. They arrived crushed and often shattered immediately, every single time. I tried British wholesalers, but they only grew a limited palette and not named varieties.

And so I found a field, planted several hundred tubers, and Devon Dahlias was born. We exist to give florists access to the best quality flowers, in specific colours and wholesale quantities. As well as Dahlias we also offer a wide selection of other beautiful, fresh cut flowers to complement our signature blooms.
