Poppy flowers are quick and fleeting but the beautiful seed heads last much longer and make an excellent cut filler. They also dry really well for use in autumnal and Christmas designs.
The flowers are a fluffy pink/purple, with green seed heads. If you allow them to dry out on the plant they will readily self seed.
Sow by scattering onto bare soil where you wish them to grow. Each packet contains 1/4 tsp of tiny seeds.
