Cerinthe (also known as Honeywort) is a gorgeous annual filler with silvery green and purple bracts surrounding delicate bell shaped purple flowers. It’s a hardy annual so you can sow in autumn or spring - I find that successional sowing and regular cutting gives the happiest plants. They also self seed with abandon so you’ll never be without them again!
Sow in modules in autumn or spring, and plant out when the roots have filled the modules. They also do very well sown direct - I always toss a few seeds around the base of my dahlias when I plant them out.
